Welcome to the Podiatry New Zealand Conference 2012.
As convenor of the PodiatryNZ conference organising committee, it is my pleasure to invite you to attend our conference “Enhancing the Clinician” at the Aotea Centre from 13-15 September in Auckland.
PodiatryNZ provides a conference in New Zealand every other year. This gives us an opportunity to showcase what we, as an organisation have achieved, as well as give us a chance to get together with our peers and colleagues from all over New Zealand and further afield. The opportunity to meet and network with a diverse range of industry leaders and senior professionals within the world of Podiatry is invaluable.
The role of continuing education is now an integral and important part in our professional development and has become a deeply entrenched aspect of the Podiatric Profession. This conference provides all registered podiatrists with the opportunity of achieving your Board recertification requirements. Thanks to the brilliant organising team this year’s programme is interesting and relevant. Matthew Carroll, Programme Committee has developed an exciting technical program, which features the best national and international keynote speakers on a superb range of topical subjects including forensic podiatry and falls prevention.
This year we will have a stunning trade display with a variety of suppliers from our industry as well as many new exhibitors whom we are pleased to welcome on board. They are all keen to show us their many new and innovative products and for you to be able sample and learn about what is out there.
I am looking forward to meeting you in Auckland in September at what promises to be a most stimulating and enjoyable event! For those coming from outside Auckland, we hope you will take advantage of your time in Auckland, New Zealand's ‘City of Sails’, which has so much to offer.
